Pilot & Health-Data Consent
Last updated: August 31, 2026
What this is
Vextara is currently a pilot. By taking part, you agree to the specific points below, in addition to our Privacy Policy and Terms. This consent is separate on purpose, because it concerns sensitive health information.
Not a medical device
Vextara provides an objective assessment and decision support for a licensed clinician. It is not a medical device, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional medical judgment or emergency care. Any diagnosis or treatment is made by a licensed clinician. In a crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
The information we process
- Health-related information you provide about yourself or your child — screener and intake answers, and objective assessment results (reaction-time and movement measures).
- Account and contact details, and basic technical data needed to run and secure the service.
- Camera / motion: the assessment measures movement on-device — no video is recorded, uploaded, or stored.
We process this to provide the assessment and clinician review you request, and to operate and improve the pilot. We do not sell your information. Our processors are listed on the Sub-processors page.
Your consent
By continuing, you confirm that:
- You are 18 or older and are enrolling yourself, or you are the parent/legal guardian enrolling your child and consenting on their behalf.
- You explicitly consent to Vextara processing the health-related information above for the pilot.
- You understand Vextara is a pilot and not a medical device, and that clinical decisions are made by a licensed clinician.
Voluntary — and you can withdraw
Taking part is voluntary. You can withdraw at any time and export or permanently delete your data from Settings → Privacy & data, or by contacting [privacy@vextara.example]. Withdrawing won’t affect care you’ve already received.
